I hesitate to call anything we have "technology", especially when compared to this ship.

We were content to rely on magic to grow our societies and dedicate little time to the sciences. Though there are places where that is not the case, even those cities can't compare the inventions here. [ rubs his head ] It is a little disorienting.

It's not like stuff like this pops up overnight. Where I'm from, space travel's only just becoming a possibility. People floating around in ships like this and making work trips to other planets? That's still just fantasy.
